THE EDGE OF EVERYDAY
Actor, Inter-spiritual minister and leadership coach, Sandra Bargman leans into the understanding that life isn’t black or white, but rather it’s where these two meet where we find the most creativity, chaos and ultimately, understanding.
Based on her hit one woman show of the same name, The Edge of Everyday is an exploration of the edges we all face and grapple with in our challenging times. Sandra Bargman shares her own stories and perspectives around opposing beliefs, paradox, the sacred and mundane, and our biggest edge, fear of change. Real conversations with real people that spark provocative invitations to leap out of what’s safe and explore the outer edges of their lives.
BIO:

I am a creative soul, intuitive communicator, and energetic servant. It started when I was three years old, marched into our family kitchen, hands on my hips and announced that I was here on “a mission”! Every career choice I’ve made has ultimately rested on the ancient Greek maxim of “Know Thyself”, the directive that is at the heart of every artistic, spiritual and leadership journey.
I hold a BFA from Carnegie-Mellon University in drama and music and have had a happy 30+ year career as a professional (AEA/SAG-AFTRA) actor, director, teacher and Leadership Presentation coach. I’ve performed on the stages of Broadway national tours, the clubs and cabaret rooms of NYC, off-Broadway, regional theatres and beyond.
My spiritual life called me further inward, and in 2007, I was ordained as an Inter-spiritual Minister from The New Seminary for Interfaith Studies. I hold an advanced certification from One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in Spiritual Counseling. Unaffiliated with any single religious tradition, I’ve helped clients of all faiths and traditions (including none) in pursuing deeper self- understanding in their personal quest to ’Know Thyself”.
I am an Edgewalker. I traverse the borders, the edges between worlds, the spirit filled and the mundane.
In our modern world, my edge walking also occurs when I and the clients I support, actively seek out the edges and boundaries of accepted beliefs, assumptions and unexpected challenges. Together we discover ways to “think outside the box”, cultivate courage, and create a new sense of possibility. In other words, I help others understand and accept the inevitability of change.
In 2014, I started my own company, Sacred Stages, LLC, which is dedicated to encouraging everyone to discover the timeless universal truths of Spirit/The Sacred/The Divine through the venue of live theater, music, and ritual design. My hit one-woman show, The Edge of Everyday, garnered a Broadway World award nomination. The live CD recording can be found on Amazon and CD Baby.
